It occurred to me that if I wanted to "dye" eggs, I would have to go buy some from the grocery store to get some white ones. I could just hard boil the blue and pink eggs, but most of my eggs are brown and would be hard to dye a pastel color.

I am boiling up all my green, blue and pink ones to "hunt"

I can't wait to have my ameraucana eggs next year!! The brown ones actually dye to really pretty colors IMO, but we did go buy white, cause I only have two eggs left from before my hen went broody

When will she lay again??!! Oh well I guess I can't be too mad at her, she is taking very good care of those chics I put outside with her.

An oven Bator!!!!!!!! Now if I told you once I told you a million times, no wine drinking while on your Med's LOL. Well it puts a whole new spin on baked Chicken. OK seriously I do think it could be done, but to be honest there would have to be some major overhaul work done to make it feasable. here are a few things you would have to seal up the stovetop burner elements as they leak heat from the oven, it is going to be huge and very awkward, must be operated indoors. new heating system and wiring is no biggy, there will be no room for extra heating element in the broiler drawer, and cutting out the bottom will be challenging at best. Don Don the bator Mon may have other ideas, but it sounds like more of an overhaul than you could do with another container to start with. Just my opinion Hun!!!.

Well I would say that it would be a heck of a job, I think it could be done, I don't believe that you will be happy with the out come..Just wait a couple more weeks and you may find something at Poops that you can't live without. (or your chicks for that matter)..

Then I keep thinking what if I am not supposed to not hatch? God has weird ways of getting His point across!!!

Thanks everybody on the oven input....

(*Hennies puts wine and meds in oven and goes to bed*)

Thanks, cityclucks. I'm a He. Monty just added me to the Out of State Okie list. I grew up south of Chickasha and still have family all over the place there. Glad to hear good news so far. Today I'm hatching out cuckoo maran and assorted dark eggers, olive eggers, and

hopefully a blue cochin.

Hi I am here, they had some flare ups today in one of the neighborhoods that has already been damaged. They had a whole section closed off. It was four miles from me.
I was at our Easter Pageant today. Three down and one to go.
My legs can't wait. Standing on stage for an hour and a half is kinda hard on my tired old legs.
Today's performance was our best so far. I hope we haven't peaked.
Lynn, thanks for caring.

So, are your "olive eggers" Americauna chickens? Are the egg shells light blue inside or are they white inside?
