Good morning, Okies
Went to bed late and woke up at the usual time - even without the alarm clock. I am headed to the grocery store for the coconut and marsmallows for my salad, so I can stir it all up with the chilled pineapple and mandarin oranges and sour cream. Teach won't like this salad - it has the dreaded pineapple and coconut - but I bet he finds plenty to eat anyway.

My prayer is that God watches over everyone traveling and keeps them safe (as well as those traveling on the road with them).

Woke up this morning to the sound of a very young rooster crowing his little heart out, coming from Teach's campsite...then the others had to join in...it was so cute to hear them working to get a good crow out.

Got a good shower, ran to the truck stop for some milk for my coffee and back for breakfast. Kids are in the shower now, mom and dad went for a walk and I'm sitting here on the puter. I need to get my booty up to the clubhouse and see what kind of trouble everyone is getting into.

Can't wait to meet everyone today! This is way cool.

Thanks Sonya, I know I would of liked to of got to visit longer with you and your girls. Maybe we can sometime soon.

I'm worn out from the heat and the festivities...back at the camp to rest a while...new chicks chirping in my ear...quail jumping around in a cricket box...and I won a dozen spitzhauben hatching eggs in the raffle!! Just what I need more eggs!! LOL..I love it.

Now I have to figure out where I'm going to keep quail...I need to build a hutch or something...sigh.

hi everyone i have a question for u guys....if someone ships live chicks out on fri will usps ship them or not....reason being i bought 120 pheasant pullets and they were supposed to be shipped out on the 20th not the 24th...he says that usps will not ship live chicks over the weekend...so he want to refund my money instead of shipping them on the next order......what should i do...

I absolutely LOVE my new silkies (From OKCarla) and EE chicks( Crap I've forgotten who I got them from

please remind me)... It's been soooo long.
Momma's already named them all
--Merengue (Yes like the Pie) (This EE's going to be a trouble maker she's already flown out of the tub-thing I put them in.)
--Velcro(she's a white silkie that follows one of the EE's around everywhere.)
--Snap(The EE that Velcro is attached to)
--Tuppy(A random name for the black silkie, I think it's from the words Fluffy and tough?)
--Sunder (The partridge (?) silkie kinda just sits there wondering what to do next...is that a bad thing?)
--Kayenne (An EE, she eating all the knats that get into the tub-thing)
-- Sienna (she look's and act like a full grown owl, very disturbing)
I just LOVE these things

Next question: How do you spend such little and end up with less than ten bucks in your pocket by the time you leave?
9 for the silkies, 5 for the raffle, 27 for the basket, and 6 for the picture of the sisters.... ooooohhhh I see

Anyways I'm off for a nap... that is if I can ever get myself to put the chicks away....

Made it home Okay, We had a great time and all that Food, Man we need more members..
I'm not going to name names but everyone that worked on the food did an outstanding job..
Thank you all very much..we know how much work you put into.. Wish we could have stayed
longer..But life called and we had to answer..
I really hope that we can do this again..
Thanks to everyone that we met and to the one's we will meet next time

Well that was fun! I have to admit it feels wierd, I've been looking forward to poops for weeks, something to keep my mind of being huge and pregnant..... guess I need something else to focus on now
