If you know anybody inbetween Stillwell and Leach, you might
otta call and see that you can get through. They said Rose,
Leach, Oaks, and through there have had 6" of rain. I know
#10 is closed.....don't know about #59.

We got a good'un here a bit ago, but thankfully, didn't last
too long. That round was headed for Proctor - Christie.
Hope we get a break long enough for some of this to run
off.......... I gotta run to town.....better "get 'er done".....

Stay safe.

Thanks for the info.
I found their site online and they are only open on the 2nd and last Friday of each month. Probably wouldn't be much there even if it was open.

It's been a long time ago. My uncle has been a lot more than me but said they have quite a few sometimes. He said its a long wait because they sell the pigs first.

We were planning on going. I had cages made to take some young RIR's. They got so much rain over the last two days. I looked at the website and the field is a muddy mess. Suppose to rain again tomorrow. I guess we will pass this time.

I actually have had some good hatches with shipped eggs. A lot of it depends on how old the eggs are, how well they're packed, and if the shipping damaged the eggs any. I bought some turkey eggs on eBay from a seller in Florida, they are due to hatch on Wednesday, and 13 out of 14 are developing nicely.

I just took this picture of my sick sweety with a silkie chick that hatched yesterday. I noticed this silkie has a grey beard and really fuzzy feet!

The first time I went to Chupps was several years ago. It rained all day long, hard. I didn't have a rain coat, but I was out there all day. I had a blast.

I could go by myself, but it's 100 miles away. I've gotten use to my wife going and us making a day of it. We usually stop and eat at Muskogee on the way back home. She has asthma, and can't be in the rain. I don't want to go if my buddy can't.

What a cutie Carla!! You have very nice silkies!! I am enjoying the one I got from you. I did take the turkey's out and into a pen alone. I plan to take them to my uncle next week......I wasn't meant to have Turkey's.
