You guys are scaring me... I have had a throbbing headache all day, since4 this afternoon I'm feeling queasy and have been getting the chills, but no fever...someone said some flu was going around (not the funny stuff from Mexico), Now I don't know if it's stress or I'm getting sick... I got 8 hours in a car tomorrow with 2 other girls driving to big D for the funeral. Dang it... I don't want to let this lady down, but I don't wanna go sick either..... I guess we'll see what transpires....Good heavens...what next...? I know.... Don't ask! I'm going to bed...healing prayers to the suffering little ones....and the PARENTS!! Run!!! AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! GERMS CAN HAUL A$$!!!!

Ok mites & hive beetles get into the hive itself?? How the heck do you know they are there???????? When the hive swarms, they are looking for a bigger place? What does that do to the current hive? Am I buggin you asking this stuff?

I guess I need to laugh since I was a basket case just a while ago. I was so mad cause I thought I was doing everything right.

I didn't plan to get the chickens today but something about free got me. Funny thing is he said I can have more in a month or two when he can tell the breeds and gender.......I really need to stop, I have others that I want and don't need all these little guys......I just can't help myself.

it is heart wrenching when you lose one- i do wild bird rescue too, and it really hurts- but i had a friend tell me that sometimes you are meant to be hospice care and be there for them- i lost my first roo this year, new to chickens too...the little 3 week old stole my heart- and then snuck out behind me where our idiot dog was waiting... and yes i cried...it does happen...hang in there!
