I'm trying to get into the medical field, either radiology technician or nursing. I'm attending a local community college in Paris, TX. The class is online.

Well a couple thousand pages back luvs2garden mentioned that I had blue rocks in the bator. I had a really bad hatch on those. Even with the best planning, they got here during cold weather and think that may have been the problem.

I had two hatch out of 2 dozen and they look to be black, but hopefully carry the blue gene.

I read last night for an hour and a half to catch up. Would love it if the Missouri folks liked to talk about their chickens as much as you guys do. I envy all of your auctions there also. If i didn't have family roots here, I would be moving there.

Have lots of sun here and hoping to dry things out and get a few things done outside.

Ugg, I am so ready for some good ol' sunshine. I thank the Lord for the rain, but I will certianly thank Him for a nice breezy, warm, sunshiny day.

My chicken pens are a muddy mess. My Welsummers are freaking out and are fighting to get into the laying nest to lay!!! That is a shocker, maybe I should pray for some more rain.

Nah.

Anyone need two incubators with turners. There is a guy in town selling two incubators with turners for $100 bucks for all. He says he finally got a cabinet bator. If so, let me know and I will get his number for you (it was aired on our local swap shop radio program). Maybe he can ship them?

Well here's hoping for a blessed day for everyone.

Well not to rub it in but up here in our neck of the woods the sun is shining bright and if I am not mistaking my grass seems to be growing at a alarming rate!!! Or it may be the fact that it has been gloomy and havnt been able to mow my yard for 6 days now!!!! Well I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!!!!

I have read a couple of dates so far but has there been any deffinite dates set for the fall POOPS? I have heard so much about it and how much fun it was that I really wanna go if it is on the 24th of October that would be great sense my daugters birthday is the 22nd!!

I hear ya on wading not only through the water but the grass too! I swear if it even gets close to drying up I will mow a path to my pens! Still no sunshine here.

I don't know anything on dates, matter a fact I don't know who is doing the planning......

Well I think you all have to set the date so us out of staters can plan, LOL. Luvs will come hunt me down if I don't make it in the fall.

Pus I have to be able to save up enough chickens and money, LOL.

Do you have any Airborne in the house? I think that helps me keep from getting full fledged sick sometimes. If not, drink some orange juice or load up on vitamin C, take some Nyquil and go to bed. Stay warm and hope you feel better in the morning. (and Dramamine or some other motion sickness medicine helps with a queasy stomach.)

KT,

Do what I do. When I feel something like that coming on, I wrap up in a warm blanket and sip on a few glasses of warm rum. I'm still sick, but I don't seem to care as much.
