Were they chicks?

unfortunately mine are al 11-12 weeks and they are already outside... kinda hard to sneak a brooder back in the garage. That is what made him the most mad he said I am so sick of chickens I want my garage back. So I snuck them in a closet and he's still mad. I will tell you though, he looked in the box and said that they were so cute what are they?

Here is how I use to do it before the incubator. Just add them amongst the other chicks. Heck what is 2 more to 40 chicks. it is hard to count all them running around.

I did that once... and surprised myself! I was feeding the chicks one day, and I noticed one little chick (turned out to be a Light Brahma) that I just could not remember buying! I still do not remember why I bought that one... I do remember looking at it at TSC, but I coulda' swore I put it back in their bin! Oh well

I have two chickens that are about 6-8 weeks with a little runny nose and when they drink water I notice a little cough. What do you think this might be? I have given them VetRx the last two days. They are eating and drinking and very energetic?

ha ha ha just like Lynn my hubby back when I 1st started. Madder than a wet hen then awwwwwwwww they are cute what are they. Now see, I DO have a method to my maddness here, I got them cochins at POOPS and he fell in love with them and NOW they are HIS birds. NOW he wants more and more cochins and bantams. Feeds both addictions, his and mine.

Grace- That is funny.

Luvs- I like your methodology it seems to work, I have notice that when I make it his or give him some ownership int the project he is all over it. Like when he built the coop I posted pics on the web and gave him huge props about being the best hubby ever...that was all he needed

As Duckey would say on land of times.................YUP YUP YUP!!!!
Men gotta love them. Lynn is waiting patiently(well not really patiently, he grumbles) for the wet to go away so he can build more tractors. We have decided to go that route instead of a large coop. SINCE I can not just get down to a few breeds.

Now that school is out I wish our little Okie group could have another meeting. Doesn't have to be on the scale that it was last time but, I would love to meet everyone w/o all of the stress of getting back in a day for work or school. Maybe a mini-Poops?

Anyone have ideas about the sick pullets? they are outside and the weather has been so moist they are dry and fed

I'm stumped.

Tahlequah is here....lots of lightning, wind and rain, but nothing
damaging. Recon we dare believe the extended forecast
for this next week??? Seven days of sunshine........gees,
hope they're right !!!!!!

We drove down to our favorite camping area on Tenkiller
yesterday....LOL Instead of it being 40 feet to the water....
it's about 3 feet and lots of the sites are totally under water,
and it's still coming up.......... Naaaaa, I didn't want to go to
the lake anyway.......... %&*# !!!!

Have a good one !
