Hmm... it's been flagged for removal...

It's possible that some animal rights activist flagged it. Someone really enjoys flagging any free pet ads. Anyway, I still have the ad up on another screen, I guess I could post the info if anyone is interested.

Well, here's the info & I'll take out the phone number:

"I have a small farm in rural Oklahoma that I recently had to sell. I have over 200 chickens, goats, ducks and a few sheep that I will be willing to give up for FREE TO A GOOD HOME!
Please call me at (405) XXXXXXXX if you are interested or have any questions. I don't have much time to check my email, so please call!
Thank you!"

Update: It must have been a scam, because someone has posted that they talked to the person and they don't have farm animals.

Wow, some people

Ok I need some help, while I was outside with my chickens I seen a couple that had a swolen eye, it looked really cloudy and watery, what is wrong? I am freaking out tell me it is something easy, I had some neomyicin (spelling?) drops and started putting them in there. Any info would be great!!!

Possibly infected from dirt or accidental scratching .... or could be a virus. If it's infection from being hurt, the neomyicin would be good, but if it's a virus, they need to be put on antibiotics. Any other symptoms with the other birds? People like Les, aka nnbreeder are much better at helping diagnosis an illness than I am. Also, I think you could ask others on that illness forum.

Good luck!

Just pop up overnight? Could be from the dry weather and blowing dust. Try to rinse them with some Saline solution first but if nothing happens overnight some stronger measures are called for. Please say what meds you have on hand.

Really at this point all I have is neomyicin. If the saline flush doesn't work ehat would you suggest as far as a good antibiotic? I have a number of feed stores/ farm supply storres nearby so I can get the antibiotics as early as tomorrow. Mornimng

LS-50 is my weapon of choice. I weigh out three grams on a postal scale and add that to a gallon of water and treat for five days. Mixing it fresh daily.

The generic for it is Lincomycin-Spectinomycin and is made by the same company. In fact if you peel off the label there will be a label for LS-50 under it, go figure!

I'm slow at typing so I will add this too. You can get Terramycin eye ointment at your local feed store and it is like a 2% solution. That can also be used in the eyes along with using other drugs and will help them to clear up faster.

Carla, you can get ex-military aircraft but they are usually older cargo planes that have been well cannabilized. No cutting required either as they have already been de-militerized or whatever. Through GSA auctions.

The military trucks will also come with the SF-97 forms so you can tag them. No jumping through hoops to get it done either. Govliquidation doesn't list that the the ex-military trucks come with SF-97 forms like the passenger vehicles do.
