Thanks MOnty! Missed you guys too! Things have just been alittle wild here getting the routine for school. Now soccer has started up too. Not to mention everyday life.

I shall do better!

Madison asked tonight if she gets a shirt too! LOL. She is just as excited as I am about going.

Night ya'll.

Night Sooner!

I honestly haven't thought about hauling home the chickens... But I can't really have more than just a trio at this point.

I do have some fine homemade transportation crates that fit nicely in my car. (Plastic tubs with lids from Walmart, with holes drilled in the sides.)

As soon as I get the pen built I guess... My aunt is keeping the last few chickens until she gets moved. She said she'd be moved by October, but the way things are going I think she will be down here sooner. So I've gotta hurry it up. I was waiting to hear about the pens in Guthrie, but never did. So I guess I'm back to building. I did pick up my grandmother's truck tonight to go buy supplies. Now I've just gotta come up with a decent plan. I'm thinking three to four 4 x 8 pens. I'm actually browsing the coops on BYC right now.

That would've been nice! But I enjoy visiting her place up there. Need to take advantage of it while I can. Her and my uncle were living in the parsonage, so she has to move.

She will be staying with my grandma in Cement until she gets her own house, probably in my town. I'm hoping to drag her to a Cement auction or two. lol

No, just over at grandma's fishing. I'm wanting a 4 x 8 run with a covered end. I really like the ones in the BYC's pages that are the runs with the cute little playhouse kind of things on one end.

I am not near that fancy. Cityclucks has a very nice house and pen. You should get her to post another pic of it. It cost her a bundle though.

I am pretty much a wire, tin and 2x4 kind of guy. Although most of my breeding pens are partly chain link dog kennels.

Congrats on the new chicks. I'm glad to hear that you are starting to get some birds that you really like the looks of.

Well good morning everyone, time to go feed the birds then get ready for work.

Welcome to BYC. This is a fast moving thread but just jump in and start yakin', everyone is friendly. Tell us more about what birds you have, or are wanting. If you still have wants I'm sure we can fix you right up!
