I just want to give everyone a warning. If you see a white pickup with a watermelon pink box in the back headed east on I40 in the morning, don't laugh or you don't get any watermelon.

I didn't have any paint to paint my new box. I asked a friend to pick up some red paint in town today. It is not red. It is watermelon pink, but kinda cute. Not sure how DH is gonna feel about hauling around a pink box, but oh well. It was supposed to stay in the pickup to carry all his crap in but I don't think he'll leave it now.

Oh yeah, I'm just kidding about not getting any watermelon. I'm laughing myself. It's kinda funny that I'm bring watermelon and now a box to match.

You can get a 7 egg tray but I think quail eggs are the largest you can fit in one. But I wonder with Bantams... Could it work? I might end up trying that.

AnnaBell bought an alpaca last night at Jones auction.
We have a house hold here now with family out of state.
Looking forward to tomorrow...
When do you guys think you will get going tomorrow?

Sherri, I doubt that Bantam eggs would fit in the Quail egg tray... I tried that once with a turner rack for a Styrofoam incubator, and it did not work at all

But, you may be able to use the regular rack and "fit in" 4 or 5 bantam eggs, instead of the 3 it was made for *shrugs*

Just finished baking about 13 dozen cookies!!!

Just have to ice the cookies for the kids raffle. They started out looking like chicks, but after baking they kinda turned into marshmallow peeps.

With some pretty frosting, what kid will care right??

Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

I'm new to the whole cooking thing, so I didn't wanna risk bringing something unedible. Lol

I guess we are making yet another Walmart run and then maybe going fishing. Fish have been feeding us lately!

Les, I was looking over that Blue Turken Pullet and I started to wonder if it wasn't a cockerel

I don't know... this is the only Turken I have, and the only bird of that exact age, so I don't have much to compare it to. I definitely have younger birds with bigger combs... but it could be a breed difference!
I guess I will bring it anyway, and let you decide
