Morning all.

Boy oh boy what a weekend. Was the most fun I have had in a very long time.

Lets see if I can remember what was asked of me.

Robin you got your little painting buddy from Rebecca and me. I got the eggs from Rebecca at the spring poops and hatched her out. She hatched out mid May.

Cammie (I think) I thought you said you had rehomed Ollie. If not he is more than welcome to come here and be a runner mate.

Steph, I am sure that them OEG's love their new home, that is one neat set up. Gotta get to building me one some time.

Chuck, I barley made it out of that bidding war with my life. Boy oh Boy if you would have been involved wow is all I can think now. Hugs Donna.

Oh yea I will get that link into my siggy today. Hopefully, I got tons of laundry and get Lynn all packed up today. It is open to all to post pictures and comments. I figured that way all the pictures could be in a single location so all can see. Awesome someone has already posted some pictures.

Ok I went back thru and think I got all the pictures that were taken at the event posted onto shutterfly. So Grace and Al and Les I think that is it, I got them all on that site or I sure hope so.

From what Carah posted and what I put on this morning there are 108 pictures so far.

Edit to add. I didnt go back far enough so went and got the pictures that were posted a gillion pages ago. I think I got them all so far. 123 pictures now. I might get froggy and go back to the spring pictures and post them.

Fairie A big WELCOME Sounds like your starting out with some good breeds. I think silkies are everyones favorites. And I love the pycheron breed. Where did you find the eggs for them?

Had to make a new brooder set-up yesterday,just in time,we went from humid summer to late fall temps over nite! in the low 40's this morning. I'm still trying to set broodies,but they are being more difficult about being moved. They only want to set in the spot they choose!Maybe its a sign I should stop for the year!lol.

Morning Ya'll,

Just went through all the POOPS posts, wish I could have made it this time. While you guys were POOP'in I was workin hard on a new bantam brood coup. I built it in a day, wired it up the next morning and had my BB Red breeders in it by noon. Found the design here on BYC in the small coup section and all I knew was 4 foot x 4 foot wide, 5 foot tall in front, 4 foot tall in back, and with that info I went at it. Take a look and tell me if I missed anything or what you might do to winterize the coup for the little guys, please!

I got the pyncheon eggs from Jody H... she had them on the buy/sell/trade part of the forum. I swooped and snatched

Can't remember her byc screenname... I'll hunt that down.

I'll be honest... while I bought my layers with some thought to egg production, I also wanted pretty chickens... hence the order for silkie eggs from cjexotic.

edit to add: Ha! Found her.... one of our mods, hinkjc, is the source for the pyncheon eggs.
