Grace, so sorry about your predator attack. We had a raccoon attack several years ago. The boar was still in the pen when my husband got out there about 7 a.m. The family got 8 chickens and 8 guineas. It was a sickening mess. They ate some fully, left parts of some, and dragged others off. I definitely know how you feel!

We worked hard to make our pens more secure and haven't had another attack, so far.

Yea I think it was talked about that this will be an annual thing from now on. It is alot of work to put such an event together just ask Carah, Nana, Beth, Grace, Al and Monty.

Cool... now that I'll know in advance, I'm sure I can provide four slaves, I mean, HELPERS... lol (my daughter and my sister's 3 kids). They're great at doing whatever they're told
