What about a genetics project predicting color on the punnett square, then using the chicks of proof. You would have to use chickens that were different colors and know what is recessive and dominant. Which would make it high school level.

I would like to see that one done myself, did you know mating a Columbian patterned rooster over a buff hen will give you all black chicks?

It took a while to get mine done but the best way is to go to the thread on the GFM page and post what you would like it to be.

Yes yes yes it is very good meat. We butchered 3 a few yrs ago all young. Oh some good eating there.

I smoked the leg quarters on the grill in foil packets. I did it 4 ways.

1 had fruits, oranges, apples. Very good
1 had onion, garlic salt and pepper....I have to say that was the very best. Tasted just like a roast.

1 was just salt and pepper and lemon pepper. Very good.
The last one was everything I'd put on ribs. Wooshey sauce, pepper lemon pepper garlic powder and seasoning salt. Awesome.

I would be into buying meat just not taking care of the critters. Im still nursing a tree back to life from 2 yrs ago and that ignorant Billy goat that loved to rub both ends on my Silk tree.

You won't have to dress up for incubator building day! Just some overalls and underpants. Maybe a beater T shirt.

I'll have you down for our first meal, Al. We'll have goat meat gyros.

Gyros are one of my favorites. On cooking the goat meat the secret is leaving the fat on most of it. the meat is naturaly lean and tends to dry out fast if you cook it like beef. The flavor is crazy good.
