artsy - When I had all of my birds, I had one that started sneezing. I ignored it, cuz she seemed healthy other than that. But then they all started after a couple weeks. So I treated with antibiotics in the water. But I'm not as experienced as everyone else, you might wait before taking my advice. Lol

Teach - HA!!! I thought you'd like it. Oh and btw, I did observation in a science class at one point in my college career. I wanted to teach Biology! But the teacher was a coach... Needless to say, I came away with nothing but a confirmed stereotype. Sorry to hear about your cruddy dog and your poor birds.

Stimp - Video Killed the Radio Star, I know that one too! Didn't realize it had a video though, I will have to look that up. My parents have introduced me to alot of good music! Which sadly made me realize how bad today's music sucks!

Who suggested the stuffed animal and laundry basket for my Silkie? I know I over looked it earlier, but wanted to say thanks for the idea! I will probably try that tomorrow.

My little sister is a pro hair stylist; she's cutting my hubby's hair right now. I can hear her explaining all his different hair 'features'... He said 'What is this?' and she said 'Uh, that's your receding hair line.'

For beginners the Wazine-17 is the easiest to use, 1 fluid oz per gallon of water, treat for a full day and then repeat in two weeks.

Eprinex is the same as I have here on hand. Noromectin 1% injectable. Two different products with the same active ingredient. 1% Ivermectin. If that doesn't get confusing enough there is injectable, pour-on and even a spot-on formula.

There was a feedlot in N.E. Ok that lost two pens of fat cattle because the worker thought he grabbed the pour-on when he got the spot-on. Poured a line down each of their backs and the cattle in the first pen started dying before he completed the second pen.

When someone starts out in poultry sometimes it can get very confusing and a tad overwelming too and I was trying to go the most simple route.

I too want to worm our flock since we haven't yet...I am familiar with worming critters, and would prefer either injectable or spot on ivermectin...how much do I use? How long is the egg withdrawal period?

BTW, NN, we bought the two Welsummer pullets from you---FABULOUS girls! I really love them!

I'm glad you like the Wellies, the larger one has been handled but the smaller one hasn't. She was an escapee and was free-ranging when the net found here but she should calm right down.

The 1% injectable that I use I give orally on a piece of bread while wearing latex gloves. 1cc for large fowl and 1/2cc for bantams. The spot-on is way to powerful for these little birds.

I sure miss the wife's Airedale JJ. The Coyotes are close tonight and on nights like this I could turn him loose and he would get one or two of the closest ones. He was Oorang bloodline which is the hunting lines and would go about 70 pounds of solid muscle. Emily, the female I trained as a man-stopper. She goes around 60 pounds and has put many off of this place late at night.

I will buy two or three cars and put them together to make one good one so I always have a few sitting around. When copper was so high people would come up at night to steal the radiators and wiring. Emily got three that I am certain of. After all what are they going to do, go to the sheriff's office and complain? " Well I was out theiving and got dog bit so I want to file a complaint"

Less I have seen people do dumber things.

Carah, it was so funny watching the kids In the evenings they sat at our cabin.

Cammie, Good thing about your truck. Wow that was fast. Ask your hubby if he knows Clint Caufman(sp?) Or any Tiners. I have family all down in there. Distant family, most I have not seen since I was a kid.

Hope they found your grandson TJ.

Yea that would have been fun seeing teach being chased by nana. BUT I dont think she would have chased him. She would make his sit there and take it.

I loved that they all hit it off and as far as I know they all played together without being mean to anyone. Now a days that is saying something. Of course I knew we all had good kids.

I was very impressed with the kids. You guys should all be proud of your kids. They are really good lil people. And yes in now times that is saying alot. There are kids out there that would not lift a finger to help out unless it was to benefit them. Koodo's to all the P.O.O.P.S kiddos. And their parents.

Chilly here also. Got my lil heater a gowin. Dylan has a soccer game at 12 30 today. Good thing its this afternoon. This will be his 1st game, they canceled the 1st one due to rain and then he was sick on the next one.
