Grace we didn't see your hen. She must've been down the one aisle we didn't walk b/c they were judging at the time. I'm glad to hear about your wins. You may have seen us chasing my little red headed two year old around the pens. Boy he was excited! I think he wanted to get in the pens with the geese! the show was good for Caitlin too, she's more excited now than before about her chickens!

Stimp: We live just north of Wayne down 150th. I teach in the HS have been for about 8 years now. We just might hollar at you in the spring about ducks. Right now we are working on getting coops put together for the chicks we've been growing in the brooder.

Hey all :
I had to miss Cement tonight, I hope they are having a blast without ole AL. Got hurt pretty bad on the job site yesterday, and I am just at home licking my wounds, Takes longer to heal when your older. I had a fight with a 300lb Glass paned french door an it won, almost broke my leg and my shoulder is torn up pretty bad, my leg doesn't need stitches but looks terrible. Dang wind got a hold of it and I just went along for the ride down a flight of stairs, not so fun of a ride it had emergency room written all over it. I just got in the truck and came home. Laura just shook her head and headed for the medicine cabinet, she's a good nurse LOL and very used it. so anyway I thought it best to lay low tonight.

So did you make it? We popped in to see what Fletcher had. Not much, so we headed for cement. I looked around for BYC Okies but didn't see any (course, I've only met you once, so maybe I just didn't recognize you) They seemed down, too, and a quick walk around didn't bring anything of interest so we headed back to Fletcher.

Man, what a disappointment. Not only was there not much stuff, but about 80% of it was brought by one of the auctioneers. I wouldn't have known that except he kept POing everything, including this pack load of mutt birds he wanted $5 for that wouldn't bring $4 at any of the auctions I've been to. If he hadn't done that nobody would have been the wiser.

Of course, I was pretty much expecting the numbers would be down for both places on the weekend they compete with each other. I was thinking about placing an ad for the Fletcher auction since I get two free ones with my Co-op membership, just to help them out and drum up some interest from people who aren't currently involved in the auction circuit, but I'm not sure I want to now. I left with a kind of sour taste in my mouth.

Wow, Al. I hope you are okay. Man, the construction work is some dangerous business. I did my share of it in my youth and saw lots of stuff. Are you walking and everything or are you laid up serious? Need any help with anything?

I will say you were sorely missed at Cement tonight. Without you and the rest of the crew it is just a bunch of people swapping birds.

I've also been wondering where you've been on here. I haven't seen Monty much either, so I was starting to think maybe you guys were cooking up some kind of mischief.

I didn't do so well at the auctions tonight, but I made a haul this morning at the Lawton city auction. Got this one thing I'm really excited about that I want to share with y'all later.

Take care and let me know if you need any kind of help at all and I'll be there.

Thanks Jim, I am doin Ok not laid up just limping and moving slow, I have been wracked up worst I can tell you. I figured Both auctions would be slow and I don't hold out much hope for Fletcher. Gerald & Carla were probably at the football game. I was across the street during that Lawton City sale today, I was at the overhead door Co, putting in orders for garage doors and saw some of the action. So do tell whatcha get Bubba. I haven't been on much trying to catch up on stuff I neglected to do POOPS Planning so now it's back to the grindstone. Thanks for the offer to help Buddy I'll be allright.

Al, Do I need to come down there and hold your hand?
Glad it wasn't worse. Don't you have some hired hands to do the hard stuff?
Let me know if you need anything.
Monty
