The rest of the story - I gave up on making dumplings 25 years
ago...didn't matter what I did...I couldn't do it. Donna laughed
at me "foundering" on her dumplings at POOPS, and gave me a
couple of tips. Gees, what's next?............Help me here, Donna,
I can't make my own scratch pie crusts either.................

Well, Pa-Pa came back in earlier and we lost 14 little birds
to all the rain. They had cut the visqueen off for the summer
and hadn't replaced it before this "surprise" weather attack.
Thankfully the Barred Cochin and Crele chicks that we had left
were OK and he put them back in the brooder until we can get
everything put back in "winter" mode. Sounds like "fall" is
gonna be a short one and "winter" is trying it's best to slide
on in.

OK, after the Idabell show tomorrow, and I think there's another
one down near Okema that is sponsored by Creek Nation, how
many of us are going to Fayetteville, November 7th? Gonna
wear your POOPS shirts?????

Well Al, I have seen the coop that Sooner built and I am going to be using that basic Idea only it is going to be 5x7 at about 6 ft tall and will be two story and will be made for cochins so that they can stay up off the ground.

I see, sounds good we want pic's ya know LOL. I have been dabbling in the idea for some rooster quarters, I have some that I want to use for breeders on & off but they cannot be house together. I want to take one of the pens and build some large narrow reach in pens within it that will line the walls on both sides, from top to bottom & partitioned with doors. should hopefully give me about 8 big pens for them. what do think ??.

I just wanted to let everyone know that since the predators decided to declare war on us the count it now Grace's Dad "4" (1 skunk and three opossums) Predators "0"
I had no idea that there were that many wild predators in our little town! Oh well, the number is getting smaller every day.

And, guys, the funny...or not so funny thing is that the opossums have gotten progressively bigger! this last one filled the cage

Eulaine we lost 3 of the small cochins that we got from you I think that they got to cold today I am at fault I didnt put a light in for them in their coop but we got the others moved in the shed in some old rabbit hutches with lights tonight and they act like they are in heaven lol
