AUCTION DAY TOMORROW!!!

Man, I'm having way too much fun at these things. And there are so many! An auction every Saturday except the occasional 5th one.

So, anybody going to Blanchard or Alex tomorrow? I'm going to both Blanchard auctions... the goat/sheep auction at 2 and sticking around for the poultry auction at 5. I was thinking about going to the goat auction in Blanchard and then to the Alex auction at 5 but when Jerry said they are selling turners...

Besides, I want to support that auction anyway. It was the first one we attended and is so kind of sentimental to us. Plus I like the way it is run. Somebody has been ragging on it on Criagslist and it seems self defeating to me. I mean, we want as many places to see, buy, and sell poultry as we can, right? I agree with this post, though...

I have got big ol' plans for tomorrow...if I can 'member to wake-up!!

We don't have any rules about how big a kid can be to run the ball...my little runt of a 5th grader got slamed by a giant the other day! Kid had to have been 5' 6" or better and 130 or so...Bubba hung on until a few others came along to knock him down! He has caused a couple fumbles, recovered 1.5, has a few tackles for loss...did I mention he grabbed on a quarterback and threw that girl in the dirt!

Not that I am promoting violence on girls but she was the best athelte on the field! She just forgot to check behind her!

Forgot to mention my bird deathage from new birds (not killed by stupid dogs) anyways...I am down to two cockerels and one pullet of mottled japs...stupid things don't like living with me i guess

Not even the committee that awarded him the Nobel believes that he "deserves" it. He may in fact be the first person to have ever received the Nobel for something he wants to do and not something he has done.... which to date is not much.

I have decided to go donate a bunch of money to Lowes too. I'm gonna tear it all down, piece by piece, and start over. Then, I'll have room for more birds on the same footprint.

I've done all the planning. Now I just have to talk myself into doing the actual work.

Stimpy that is my problem there is a auction tomorrow but I need to really build the coop the angel is on one shoulder and the devil is on the other!! I think I may go to the auciton till noon then come home and build the coop then I will get he best of both worlds!!

I think I'll probably got to the auction too. My plan is going to take a few weeks to accomplish. I have to build temporary quarters and move birds into them, then demolish the old pens. Then, I repeat step one then stap two, ad nauseum. It's gonna take awhile. But I think the birds will be better for it.

How's everyone doing tonight? Enjoying this cool weather? I was surprised that my Marans are taking it so well.

We are trying to hang up new blinds in the house. The trim around the windows is oak, or something else ridiculously hard to get screws in. Pretty sure I'd rather work cows in the rain than have to put up blinds. Lol

Is there an auction down this way tomorrow? Blanchard or Alex maybe?
