Al...not laughing at you...just laughing with you...only cause I've already been down that road with 2 girls....and it's no picnic. I could never go to bed until they were both in the house and they were good kids. It certainly makes the hair turn grey. I miss the kids being home but I sure don't miss the nerve wracking time waiting on them to be safe at home.

Al, you are too funny!!! I know what your problem is. You spent too much time in the military and you know how those young men behave.

I can laugh now but I sure wasn't at the time I was going through it.

Just keep prayed up and God will get you through it.

I think I'm the last hen up. I better get to bed or I'm going to hear those darn roosters crowing before long.

OH OH, first one up......... wish I was happy about it........Morning all........... clear weather today ! I am looking forward to it............ want to get some pics up of the new coop and run.........it is SO nice to have a door to coop and another door to run........ AND the ladies are even sleeping in the nesting boxes..first time ever !

now. for some eggs !

I am with you OKiechick, I am not happy about being up! I just went to bed 6 hours ago!? Guess I will plan a nap into my day, lol.

Don't you want your girls sleeping on the roost and not in the next boxes?

The silly cat woke me first then my phone's battery was going dead so it started beeping so I just gave up! I have so much I want to do today, but aint nothing happening with some coffee.

Yes, and you have to be real careful. I interviewed my oldest daughter's first date (I think the fact I was a Marine and an ex-boxer came up at some point during the discussion) before they went out and she still hasn't forgiven me for it, and she is 28 years old.

And married!

Sooner,these are only 4 months or so old..... and I havent got the roost I want in there yet.......the roo stays on the roost connected to the nesting boxes though.......
