Are you sure you're not me? My mom gets allergy shots, my daughter is going to start allergy shots in a couple months, and I need allergy shots but can't afford them for myself (my insurance *sucks*). I have an epi-pen in my desk at work, on my desk at home, and one in my purse. We shall not discuss how many allergy pills I take in a day, nor the eye drops and prescription nasal spray (which, btw, is pure nastiness).

However. I have a small zoo anyway

I'm not allergic to the chickens, nor cats/dogs... but I am allergic to many many many other things.

Some people say they have a PCP (primary care practitioner. I say I have a lead allergist.

Yea I got the "triple discount" is why my internet and phone only before got reduced after I added the satellite. Plus I had been fighting with them for 6 months over a dang fax line. Turn the dang thing off. How hard is it.

Who knows Get more pay less.

I just eat Zyrtec and Sudafed when they start spraying the darn cotton with defoliant and after it rains.... Honestly... can't they just wait till the stuff falls off the bush or something... They just opened a new Southwest Cancer Treatment Center in Altus...I told Mike, great now we won't have to drive to Lawton....That crap blows everywhere off those crop dusters......Poor hens...no wonder they snark.

The problem with "introductory rates" is that they end way too soon it seems and then the "regular price" takes effect. Unfortunately, the "regular price " is what you refused to pay before you took the service to begin with, but now you have a craving for the service you receive and cough up the extra money rather than disconnect.

It is easier to get a better deal when there is more competition, because you can threaten to disconnect and get service from the competitor. As you say, it seems unfair that "new" customers can get a better monthly rate than those who have been on the system awhile. The new customers haven't become addicted yet, so they get the better deal to get them on the system as customer.

True very true, Sadly there is not much competition out here in Elgin..yet.. When we lived on post we were able to do away with a home phone, since we have our cell phones and have cable internet for cheaper than it was for home phone and dsl... And we have never had cable/dish or anything like that for tv.. our thing was whatever came through the bunny years and when we lost that to our move here to Elgin it was no shirt off our back... But I do alot of internet billing ect ect... and subsequently they dont offer cable inter net out here... So Jason and I will be doing some heavy thinking thats for sure!

My allergist has me taking 3 Zyrtec and a Xyzal a day, every single day. It started out as 1 and 1, now up to 3 and 1, and I still sneeze/cough/watery eyes every day randomly throughout the day.

I think smog was better that Oklahoma's version of Agent Orange. I was amazed when we first got to this small town, at the cancer rate. No I'm shocked tha tmore people DON"T have it!

Legalized theft...it's like the hardware stores in Altus....they jam it to ya because they know the only alternative is to drive to Lawton....unless it's dire and I mean DIRE...I make a list and drive to Lawton. I'd rather pay for the gas than give it to Foxes...and they won't take returns without you holding a gun to their head. NAd they have all these snotty people working there...it's like customer service does not exist there....

I just got back from our local atwoods and the Pine shavings are 4.19 for 7 cubic feet but when they are bagged it is compacted to 3 cubic feet. Until this point I have used straw but I am gonna experiment with the shavings.

I use hay for my laying flock and kinda do a deep litter method. I throw scratch in there and let them turn it for me, I also use it in the laying box.

The Cochins get the pine shaving, the hay wasn't thick enough but the shavings are working great. I use my play school shovel to turn them once a day
