Hey Teach the National Young Bird Show is Oct. 17th. You could swing by and pick me up and we could both go!Lol.

Never mind,I'll be recuperating in the hospital that weekend!Dang,and I was really wanting to go this year!

Is it just me or does anyone else have a hard time focusing on that pic of the week ? Thats a hard bird to focus on ,even sober!LOL.
Teach I'm confused,the other teacher was wanting a hairy man but why did she want a long haired g pig? Lol.

Hey Henny,get to feeliing better,take lots of vitamine C,stay outta the rain.

City you doing okay today? How's them hens doing.Your going to have to cull before spring so you can get some new fuzzy butts! I had one hen hatch 9 yesterday and one hatced 8 today! Three hens with new hatches and we have a fereze warning tonight.

Hey there CITY CLUCKS... Or my favorite lil raffle thief... ha ha Ya do know as soon as I brought them canisters home I filled them up with Corn Flour and Cocoa Powder...

and they sit beautifully in their respective areas of my Baking Hutch... So thank you again... for giving them to me even though they were your win at the POOPS Raffle

My heart just sank when I seen the pic of the blood spot. I just knew that you were going to lose the flock. Chickens rebound fast so that is on your side and winter is holding off just a tad so that is another plus.

Hey now I am a baking queen and happy to report DD is taking on the tasks as well.. so seriously dont be surprized if you see a pie on the window sill cooling off any time soon... I have a apple pie I will be baking soon along with cinnamon rolls HMMMM HMMMM GOOD

but wait pretend I said nothing of the sort... this is just a dream and this is a green chicken with a pet monkey telling you these lies... ha ha ha

NITE ALL its been a day for us and our quest for a family situation that may result in kinship care... love to ya all...

The most dangerous part is the first worming. With a big load of worms the wormer makes them detatch from the intestinal wall where they feed on blood. When that many turn loose at the same time a bird can actually bleed to death from all of the open wounds.

You are past the dangerous part and are well on the way to healthy birds. I would worm monthly till I didn't see any more and then at least twice more to make sure the life cycle of the worm is broken.

Al - We got do a desert raid this weekend!

Daschunds - the original plan last year was to go this year...then my silly buddy changed jobs!

I have never been but everyone says that is where all the cool kids go to look at cool birds! NO HAIRY MEN!!!

Well maybe but she is kinda a little pregnant at the moment so is fast to hit!
