Stimpy : Seems we have even more things in common ( Duck & Goose hunting ). I am not a nut about it I am a fanatic LOL. We should visit about it.

Teach : The best way to tell the ducks from a distance is by the way they fly, some fly/flare/and form just a little differant from each other. The calls they make are another good way to ID them, as for the whole Hen/Drake ID thing just remember the more color= Drake, less color & dull = Hen.

We all need to get together, find a place and do a duck Hunt, I have all the decoys and stuff like that. Stimp what do you think???.

i finally had to get mean with the roo, he isn't attacking me anymore- sure hated to do that, so he gets held in the coop at nite, the rest the time he keeps his distance and watches out for the girls...

Robin : Looks like your birds will have to learn to either run the rapids or learn how to row a boat, Seriously if you build up the perimeter of that area it will just make a swimming pool. You need high ground and drainage, chickens drown very easily. I say relocate the whole run from the looks of it.

That was the way my back yard looked when I got home from work yesterday afternoon. I have to do something with my pens too. I almost hate to see the rain come. I will get it done in time I guess but too many projects going on.

Since the fence is set in concrete. what if we divert the path of the water with pvc pipe and create a drain in the run? this only happens with heavy rains... so maybe divert the creek itself? gonna have to do some thinking on this

We will probably be at the Inola auction tomorrow if anyone is going. I talked to the guy tonight, he said cages are sold with the bird, the auction starts at 10 and will probably go until 12:30-1:00. It is between Inola and Chouteau on 412.

They taught at NSU art dept that clutter and a messy studio was proof of a successful artist!!
