Sounds like they have a resp. infection. Since you hear the breathing I would get them on some Tylan-50. On bantams it is 1/4cc twice daily or 1/2cc for standard fowl twice daily. The shot needs to be given in either the left side of the breast or in the thigh just above the drumstick.

A seven day course should have them perked up nicely but if they are not better in three days hollar back and I will tell you somehing much stronger to use.

Here Is A Correction For Countyroad1330. The Grand Champion Bantam Was A Dark Rhode Island Red Rooster. Which Also Was The Overall Grand Champion. The Black Cochin Was Reserved Grand Bantam. The Reason I Know Know This I Owned Him. He Had Came From The Blanchard Auction. Thanks Jerry

i wasn't able to find any vetRx here...

Ok this is a rookie question for sure but I gotta know, first, do they band the birds as you bring them in or do you need them banned before you get there? Also if I am not misunderstanding all birds have to be tested before they get there or do they have testing on site at Shawnee??

Les I am hoping to get my whole flock tested but the guy was suppose to call me before today to set up a appointment to test my birds but nothing yet..... And I guess I am either to tired or just stupid but do they provide the band??

Evening all! The goat has had it's bath & is sheered. Tomorrow is the 4H show for Madison. (Nana, they took today off so I still don't have an answer) This has been a really busy week! I don't think I will be up much longer tonight.

Q Bill banded mine after they were tested.

Hey Gerald!!! Glad to hear you are feeling better!! Is that the uncle with the chickens or was it turkey's?
