Anyone getting any wint'ry weather yet? Hubby called me at 6 to wake me up from my eternal nap and tell me it was snowing! But just a bit, short enough that I missed it. It is still sleeting now. I'm hoping it doesn't get icy tomorrow evening, I have classes.

Q - I think the bands are just mainly for registration purposes, and to help the jidges not get mixed up.

Teach - Come shoot bears down here, people are getting afraid of them since they're actually seeing them. Me, I'd like to say I'm not a wuss, but I'd probably pee my pants if I saw one even from the safety of my home!

There is no talking about bad weather and Shawnee...do I need to remind you people about the chewing I took because the weather went to...well it got bad...my wife was furious..acted like I planned it just to worry her! And me out there with her babies! It was not pretty people!

Okay...all done...I ain't scared! Well I am of my wife...she said i had to go to sleep at some point...

.44-40 that is cool! that is a REAL cowboy gun!! They liked pistol and rifle bullets to be the same...made it easier buying shells and such...got a buddy with one. Long octagon barrel the whole nine yards...flames...that is one reason i like revolvers! Ever see those revolver rifles! You aren't supposed to hold the barrel!!!!

Guess I'm off to study for an exam. With 2 weeks of school left and tons of assignments and exams left, I've been doing alot of this lately:

Last night a prof gave me a D on a big paper I'd put alot of work in to. I followed the instructions in the syllabus, which apparently was wrong. He told me if the assignment had really been what I'd interpreted it to be, that I would've got an A. How does that help me!?

Got some lab work back yesterday, looks like my smart doc may have finally made a break through. Got an appointment Friday, praying he can fix me!

Gene Sears supply in El Reno had an old lever action 44-40 Win. last time I was there. I think it was priced at $1200 but well woth it.

The pistol I have is a reproduction but it is cool, just no muzzle jump to it like the calibers that take the smokeless powder. Got a rimmed .45 Colt reproduction to and it is the same way.

I hear the museum down in Freedom has a good gun collection.
