Okies in the BYC The Original

Long ago in a little town South of here the night cop was just off duty and eating breakfast in the local cafe. Well it seems that as he got out of his car his pistol got cocked and then when hw was getting up from the table he bumped the table and it went off. Luckily all it did was crease his leg. That was before the grip safetys and all the other stuff ya gotta do to get them to go off.

Red beans and rice along with a seafood boil. Heaven on a plate!!

We had a local cop shoot his window out! We used to make fun of him...the old Barney with the bullet in the pocket bit...the chief would tell us nope not the way it is...he needs all the rounds he can get...uses up too many shooting our patrol cars! He is gone...

Big Q : Can you send me a link to that Motel 6 you were talking about, I am thinking I may not want to make the long drive after a day of heavy partying with our chicken buddies.

Ok Teach ,curosity is getting the best of me! How do you bury a six foot long snake? In a long grave or do you roll it up and put it in a short grave? I know its morbid and no offensive meant to poor Ra. But i been thinking about that ever since I read your post earlier in the day. I just have have this image of this really long grave stretched across the back yard with all these little tombstones saying "Here lies Ra" "And here", "And here", "and here" "and here"......

My mommy made me eat enough to choke a horse! Apparently it went well with a secretary's salary and three kids to feed...I still eat it cuz well...it is on the table and I eat what is presented...usually...I have a couple no goes I don't care how cute the old lady is!

I noticed that the dry stuff most people here eat isn't what we call "rice" in my family... the stuff's gotta stick to your ribs and hold the beans and all that, you know?

Still remember the first time I put some chicken fried rice on my plate when my parents took us to eat Chinese... it took me a while to get up the guts to try it, rice isn't supposed to be YELLOW.

That's funny! I've always eatin any kind of rice, don't give much thought to the color.
My mom's dad was Irish, so I grew up eating all that kind of stuff. People always get grosed out when I tell them we eat oysters in our holiday dressing. I thought everybody did! Lol

Meant to tell everybody, I read that Dust Bowl book Sunday, the one we'd all talked about earlier. It was good, for a sad hard time. I seriously put down the book and thanked God for all I have after I finished reading it.

Motel Six is really easy to find. It is right between Motel Seven and Motel Eight.
