Morning all.

We had a huge frost this morning,and then it clouded up before it melted! Old timers(geesh I'm getting to be one!) say that is a sign of snow!

I'm hoping so, Got to go out and bait my hawk feeding station again. Grrr!

Well I tried to find my attire and forgot that I used most of it to start brush pile with!!!

Reading about everyone going to the show in Shawnee Dec. 12-13 is making me have chicken withdrawals. Is there a Summer POOPS planned? If there will be one, is there a location? I've got two incubators humming, and I'm anticipating heavy sighs from DH in December and January if I don't have plans for the extras.

I think we are going to have to back out of attending Shawnee. Too much going on here at the place, too much that needs to be done. I even missed the auctions last night, believe it or not. Next weekend is the deadline for thinning our laying flock, and I need to butcher our meat birds before they get too old. They are getting nice and meaty.
