I recently got a recipe on BYC for Silkie tamales! However, it'll probably be a looooong time before I can bring myself to EAT silkies! We used to get authentic chicken tamales in New Mexico that were to die for.

I figured you guys showing would need some time to do that last minute clean up ect. I am glad I am not showing in this one, maybe next year. I really should of said Madison.

Guess they figure that if you have a cell phone, you have internet at home. That's faulty logic. The one that bothers me is the utility where I have to pay a fee to get a paper bill, and *I will not* go paperless because they REQUIRE that if you go paperless, you have to have automatic monthly billing. Um, no. Nobody drafts a dime out of my account without me knowing about it and authorizing it each and every time.

People showing birds at the Shawnee Poultry Show this weekend can get in to set up Friday 12/11 between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The doors open Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. for those who want to set up then, and judging begins at 8:30 a.m.

Shawn - thanks for letting us know about Teach's phone troubles - I'll add that to my list of things to tease him about.

Carla or Les - do frizzles like Carla's Turkens have any trouble with the cold weather? Does frizzle feathering have an effect on a bird's ability to keep warm or cool?

I can just see you at your regular table at Che' Lexington, ordering the Pork and Beans with a side of vienna sausages and some potted meat and crackers as an appetizer. With diet cream soda on the rocks.

I love pork and beans too . Except I add chopped smoked pork butt and brown sugar BBQ sauce and other stuff to kick them up a notch.
