Well, so much for Shawnee.

My two year old car started making weird clunking noises this morning, even though my check engine light never came on. The dealership wants me to get it to them by 8am tomorrow morning. Don't know when it'll be done. Gas for J's truck to Shawnee & back will break the budget too badly to justify going (costs over twice as much in gas as my car does).

Good news is if it's broke, it'll be considered warranty work and I'll get a loaner car from them until it's fixed.

Then I actually turned around in your drive to make another pass down Kleeman, Did you add a blacktop driveway ??. Please don't shoot me.

Guys I need help deciding if I should bother dragging these two little roos to shawnee tomorrow. They are only 3 months one is pretty but the other is ugly b/c the pretty one picks on him. Really need to get rid of these two before we can get caitlin those ducks she's been wanting. I don't have any pics but they are light brahma bantams. I can send a picture by text message later today if interested just pm me.

Well, my kids are doing all they can to help in this area.

My wife shows those symptoms as well...her hairs are plantinum...they cost alot to get and are more precious! Plus I an't buying her any platinum jewelery...gets me in trouble!

City - True that

Monty - don't try it...won't work on/for you

I agree - dont shoot Al..he is a really fart smeller...I mean smart feller...sorry...

Lady - that stinks! My truck is no longer the long drive vehicle it once was...190,000 just makes me a little jumpy...it runs great but it likes new parts now...and I don't like carrying a full tool kit everywhere I go! Hope you figure something out!

Well, the check engine light isn't on. That means the mechanics don't have an easy peasy code to read, so they actually have to work and diagnose the problem instead of being told what was wrong with it. The last time this happened, my fuel injector went out and it took them 6 hours to find the problem. I have to wait until an hour before they close to get the loaner... in other words, wait for them to admit that there is no way they can fix it that day.

I swear, this car is a freakin' lemon. In the past 1 1/2 years, I've had both oxygen sensors replaced, fuel injector, something else in the fuel system, a faulty ignition that meant the whole steering column had to be replaced, and an oil leak that took them 5 1/2 hours to trace.

Mental note to self, NEVER buy a Hyundai again.

My husband was telling me again what he is doing this weekend and then asked me what I am going to do, I laughed.

He didn't really listen, so I told him again then he said oh ok. Still no lecture, yeah!

My aunt dips her birds in white vinegar after washing and rinsing them. She lets them air dry. After they dry, she takes a soft cloth and polishes them. She's shown some really shiny birds in her day. Anybody else ever use vinegar? I haven't shown any of our chickens, but I'm planning to try the vinegar dip this summer just to see if I can get it to work. My aunt claimed that the soap residue never really washes off, so the vinegar takes off that last little bit, leaving the feathers shiny.

We did this very thing a few weeks ago for Thanksgiving, the glasses we were using for dinner. That is funny same principal can be used on a bird. It just might work!
