Okay, I guess I'll fess since someone else was too nice to tell on me. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot with my ultra cute foo foo birds, I realized that it was 8:00 at night and I had forgotten to bring food for them. I called Monty and he was nice enough to tell me about TS in Shawnee. I dropped the birds off at Grandpa's house and flew into Shawnee to get feed. I made it 5 minutes before closing time. My birdies are happy now that they can eat again. I felt awful for forgetting something like that. I always seem to forget the important things. At least I remembered the heat lamp for them, this house was COLD when I got here. Nobody has been home for a week and the heater was set just to keep the pipes from freezing. thank you Kae and Monty!

Heh. Surprised Monty didn't rat me out about my own feed issue.

Good evening, Al
What did you fix for supper? We have had reports of spaghetti and a chicken curry dish, along with pore ole Stimp's pork and beans.

I got in late from a job and luckily dinner was ready and waiting. My DW made Braised Pork neck bones served over homemade fresh Fettichini with a light basil pesto, and Strawberry cake for desert. I trained her well and she's not half bad at it on most days.

I tend to go low-key in public because living here means that I'm not usually around people who understand, appreciate, or even tolerate tattoos/piercings, etc. Like when I went to the poultry show, I took the 2 inch barbell out of my ear, as well as removing my nose stud and my eyebrow ring. Quite a few people still make assumptions such as "loser" or "bad attitude" or "unintelligent" just to name a few... and I am none of the above. I just have a concept of beauty and art being things that are subjective, and I normally don't feel comfortable enough around people (very shy, surprise surprise) to chance them making those kinds of assumptions about me when I really care about the subject at hand (like the poultry show). Unfortunately many people, maybe even some on this list, probably wouldn't have accepted me if I showed up with any or all of the above visible for people to see.

I think ink on a woman is hot. Besides that, I'm pretty sure you don't care if I like it or not. So come as you are, we're all friends here.

We're headed to bed also. Lauren slept most of the afternoon, but she is still sleepy. We have to get up before the sun to make it to the doctor on time. Night all.

P.S. I have three tats, two on my left hand and one on my right ankle.

And I'm *still awake* because I decided to clean Phantom's cage tonight instead of waiting until tomorrow night, when I wouldn't be off work until 930pm, or home until 10pm.

She's very happy with me because I cleaned it... but she's not happy about the fact I had to move her out of that cage into a cat crate to turn around and put her back. I could almost hear her saying stuff like "c'mon now, you crazy human... pick a spot! Don't you realize it's LATE?"

edit: yeah, I cleaned it later tonight than I would have tomorrow. However after working 14 hours with only an hour "break", I will be infinitely more tired tomorrow night.

I sport a little ink as well and it is all home spun. Teva has some too. Never been one to pre judge someone for their looks or what they wear. I look in the mirror and I see that I can't really afford to.
