LOL yeah I tend to try to only build things only once and try to plan for expansion or reduction and ease of care. I do like the idea though and already have the stuff so why not, it's only going to cost me about $20.00 in welding rods.

Beth you are absolutely right, his Volvo stationwagon probably had a flat tire next to chicken farmers house & while watching the farmer change his tire he looked around at the farmers operation and decided he could be a God to the 5 acre wonder farmers from wall st. Beth Your right we have been doing this stuff for a long time it's just some common sense country living that he has successfully cashed in on, by marketing them those who never had a clue and may never. When was the last time you saw a chicken farmer in coveralls sitting in a auditorium listening to a Seminar/Lecture on how to raise chickens..........................SHEEEEEESH. LOL LOL

Well I sent Carl back to Lowe's. He built what he wanted and not what I wanted so now he gets to build again. I dont think he is very happy with me. I told him that I loved it and it would come in very handy but i was trying for space saving and that it wasnt working. So now I get to make dinner and kiss up alot so he wont be mad..

Hello all. Just got finished cutting the family's hair. It started with Lauren wanting her hair shorter. We cut FIVE inches off! Then the guys decided they needed a trim. Jordan wanted an inch off his hair and Andrew just wanted the ends trimmed.

We are finally getting 2 chicken eggs and 1 duck egg every day. My Pekin never stopped laying. We went to the coop last night and my blue EE pullet was missing. We searched everywhere and couldn't find her. She showed back up today, cold and hungry. She is now in a brooder box with the other EEs and the Serama. They are still small enough to get through the fence and disappear.

The Silkie babies are doing great. They are actually trying to wean themselves from the light, I think. It is not that close and they choose to sleep on the other side of the brooder. I figure they know when to move towards the heat, so I just let them be. I came home from the city to find out that my DH wanted to take the family out to dinner. Well I think that was just a ruse, because what he really wanted to go to town for wa to pick up a puppy. We know have a Australian Shepherd/Red Heeler pup named Lulu.

Less yeah I kinda want to do a thing where it works like the shuttle docking procedure, where I can open the pop doors and they go into the enclosed coop at night, then open them up in the morning as they go into the tractor I can just tow them to new pasture patches evreyday, rinse & repeat.
