Just put hamburgers on the grill for lunch. But I have NO idea what to cook for supper, any ideas?
Had roast and taters last night and taco soup the two nights before that.
I have pheasant thawed but I don't have any dressing to cook with it so I am clueless what to do with it.

Do you have any bisquick to make dumplings? I like to stew the pheasant, debone it and return it to the strained broth (sometimes I discard the liquid and start with chicken broth made from chicken stock paste), then drop bisquick dumplings with a lot of sage in them onto the top of the boiling liquid. Cover and let cook about 15 minutes, uncover, turn the dumplings over and cook another 10 minutes. I think the sage is the secret.

Cute pictures! I love the one where your Silkie is looking out the window and seams to be thinking, "I'm sure glad I don't have to live out there like an animal or something!!"

We have a buff cochin roo that is a complete doll--he is nice to his girls and is very calm and easy to handle...he is never mean either. I don't keep mean animals...in my opinion they eat just as much as a good one, and I refuse to feed a bad one!

I guess I'd go with the semi auto, because if it required a lot of magazines, at least you'd always have reading material with you

I agree, all my animals need to be either nice or be tasty.

I like that!
I first decided I wouldn't feed a bad one of ANY creature when I had a very dishonest horse. That sucker set me up over and over again, each time hurting me or my family. That one was sold "as is" to someone who was willing to deal with him. I vowed never again to keep a mean animal...that includes small animals that can inflict only (usually) minor wounds. As a result I have a very peaceful barn and yard, and THAT is what I truly love.
