PoCo sounds like the swap we go to here! There are a handful of regulars and they usually swarm you when you pull up and want to buy everything you have -cheaply-. Then they resale at a much higher price to the ethnic groups. Nothing wrong with that but if you don't sell to them they bad mouth you to everyone and complain to the owners of the swap so much that they have run a lot of customers)both buyers and sellers) away. They want to be in "control" of what they concider their market venue. I am just stubborn enough to refuse to deal with them and undersell theor offers jsut to get there goat!(I know I'm bad to the bone!lol)

City Daughters test friday looked very favorable she said. They will go over them in more detail,but prelimnary results looked good! (YEAH!)

I am sitting here wondering why all the chickens that I want to buy are hard to find.

Like... when I say hard to find, I only find them when impossible takes a lunch break!

Currently looking for a black mottled frizzled cochin (actually, looking for 2 of them). Like the mythical unicorn, there are pictures of them... but I can't seem to find out where they live.

Al doin pretty good, just finished packing for the Vegas trip next week gotta be at the Tulsa airport tomorrow at 11 and will be back next Saturday, I am suppose to be having another hatch while I am gone so I have tried telling my DW what to do on day 18 hope it works lol!

Well my dear Carla I sure wish I could make it, Laura has been cooped up in the house during the outage so I gave her the night off hehehehe she went out shopping with some of her girlfriends, and I have promised to oversee or MC LOL a sleep over for a few hours with a gaggle of giggling teenage girls. Tell Gerald I can call the sale barn and get somebody to hold his hand if he would like LOL. I know you did a great feat getting him there good for you. I will be back into the swing soon as things return to a somewhat normal state. Plus I need to work on some POOPS stuff.

Wow, you didn't miss much. The sale was over in an hour.

At least as many people there as there were birds, but sale prices were really low. We only took some marans hatching eggs with us, and came home with 300 egg cartons. We'd have bought some nice looking silkies, but we forgot to go get cash before the auction. Unfortunately, they only accept cash there.

The only other BYC Okies we recognized were MichaelDaughtery and b52fizzle. Mike got some great deals on birds.

Things will be better next month, I'm sure.

Hi Al and everyone else.
I will be on here some tonight. I am in the middle of making chili for a superbowl cookoff tomorrow.
I have finished one big pot. (The really hot one) and now I am working on the mild stuff.
I just had to sit down a few minutes and I thought there is no better place to rest than in front of the PC.
I gotta go add some secret ingredients in a minute.
