At least all the humans in the family were able to get out with only injuries that will mend over time. That is very fortunate.

Remember how I forgot to plug in the turner on the maran eggs I bought at Blanchard? I heard chirping and just checked the incubator. One maran chick has hatched, even though the air pocket was at a severe slant inside the egg. I checked it when I added some more wet socks around the edge of the wire and it seems to have a soft belly, so we will see how it does. (yes, I know that I am not supposed to open the incubator within 3 days of the eggs hatching, but I have always done that - which may explain my less than excellent hatch rate

)

I need to know names and ages, city where they live, date and time house burnt, and a picture would be nice. I want to make a flyer to put on the jar so people would possibly know that its going to a good cause and not just a scam. I don't want anyone to ever think that it is a scam. I want to help and we could also announce why the jar is there before the sell. So if anyone has anything that would help me out, please pm me information.
