I got about 20 minutes of that great weather this afternoon, between driving home from work and then to school. Just enough time to feed everything at the house and look at the back yard trying to decide where the new coop will go.

Ok I know you guys probably think this is just silly but the ladies will understand. So Spring Break we are going to New York for 5 days. On the 20th we are going to watch Uli's daughter perform at Carnegie Hall. Got the Formal Dress and found matching shoes, totally lucky there, but the rest of the week I do not know what to bring to wear.

It is warm here but not so much there right now. How in the heck can I pack if I do not know what the weather will be while we are there. It is driving me

.
I have spent about $300 on clothes and shoes (I have never spent that much on clothes in a year let alone in a month)

but I am not sure I am even going to get to wear some of the things I bought.

Yes, I know I should not be complaining because I know how lucky I am to be able to go on this trip. We are going to go to the Metropolitan Museum, The Cloisters (Monastary brought over France), Central Park, Time Square, China Town and since we will be there on St. Patrick's Day, I am packing green, baby! Was hoping to see the Statue of Liberty but there probably will not be time. It is going to be a blast!! I am planning on taking my POOPS shirts so Uli can take pics of me wearing it around New York. We will post while we are there. Taking the laptop and the hotel has internet access, so I can get my BYC fix everyday!!!

Well I better go get some food to eat.

As a matter of fact I am planning to be at Blanchard next weekend. Do you happen to have a lonely favorelle hen who would like a hot blackbeared rooster and some girl friends to gossip with? I would like to get one more hen to make my trio a quad.

At the end of the month I have 4 pullets and 2 cockerals coming but I want to get my number up to 10. The rooster (Black Beard is his name) I got from you Q is so sweet, friendly and really good to all the other birds even the other stupid cochin roosters I have. He even likes when I pick him up and love on em. Are all your favorelles this friendly? Just wanted to know if it is a trait of the breed or I just got some nice birds.

Actually I did get a really nice pair of running shoes, and three pair of dress shoes. The running shoes were the most expensive item. My formal and the matching shoes were only $53 combined at Ross. Thank goodness for that place. I have to admit I did get a lot of clothes for the amount of money I spent. The formal, the running shoes, three pairs of dress shoes, two suits, two sweaters, four dress shirts and a belt. I love to bargain shop and pretty darn good at it too.

It happens, I suppose. I thought something might be up when I didn't get another egg until a week or so later! If this next batch is clear, I'm going to have to reassess the situation.

Yep I gotta turn in too so the late nighters can come on. LOL

We are going to pick up the new pup tomorrow in Waurika.

Cuban my first eggs that were set have been spotty on fertility but it is improving as the weather clears.

Still debating if I want one of those, or if I want to hold out for a Maremma.

Your sick and all stove up and still makin ready to show birds, man yer tough. try to shake that cold were pullin for you.

AL

I wish it were a cold, I could go to work. I don't think I will be going tomorrow either.

Madison is doing most of the work, I just have to help. This should of been done last night, if both of us don't feel better we may not make Pryor ourselfs.

BigOkie, That is wonderful, our prayers were answered & it sounds like you have a great place for you & your family.

Going to head to bed. TGIF tomorrow I am ready to keel over. Night All!!!
