fairie- can you appeal or something- maybe get the doc to talk to the powers that be on the insurance??? that is rediculous! when i had my hips replaced the insurance kept fighting on the wheelchair necessity- mind you no weight bearing for 6 weeks, then they did the other hip- a total of 6 months off them... anyway- the doc got in the middle of it and they bent over backwards after that! still have clyde(yes i named it and still have it, a $1400 specially made wheelchair!

Looks like beautiful weather here for the next couple of days, then Saturday with an 80% chance of snow.

What a way to start the first day of spring!

Oh, well, at least it is supposed to be over by 1:00, plenty of time to thaw out before the auctions.

The doc is filing the appeal, but since I can still use the arm, it's not considered an emergency and I am supposed to go through their process. So I don't have high hopes of the appeal doing any good.

(update)

We have a turkey sitting on her eggs and some chicken eggs.
All the chich born have been found dead. So last night we found
this chicken egg peeping. Watched it until the turkey kept rolling
it away. So we brought it in. In a box with a light. Now that its hatched
it just dosnt look right. Has a bump on its lower side like its inside
is coming out. Will try and post pick but that may take a while.
What if anything should I do?

Well, the Gorilla Tool Sale is tonight in chickasha. It starts at 6:30 or so tonight. I have to start getting concession ready.

Looks like it is going to be another busy day for us again. We got 4 rooms built in our barn and now we have to build the doors, then we we have our 7 specialty breed pens.

Looks like there is another auction starting. Here is the advertising I found on craigslists...

Starting on March 20th, Alva Livestock Auction will be under new management & ownership. We will be having our first sale Saturday March 20.
Selling first will be cattle at 12:30 then calves. Followed by the calves we will be selling poultry, goats, sheep, hogs and other small animals.Our sales will be held EVERY Saturday starting at 12:30. Starting in April the small animal sale will be on the FIRST Saturday of every month after the cattle sale.
