So much for sleeping in.. I think this is the thing that drives me nuts about getting older is not needing as much sleep. Honestly folks I love to sleep in, sometimes til noon.
I haven't done that is several years, unless I am really sick.

Hey Teach, so this makes what?? The hundredth type of duck you have aquired over the last few months. How do you hide them from your DW? Ducks are not quite.. So do you
follow the rule of asking for permission or begging for forgiveness. I personally prefer the latter but, also am under the belief that when it comes to birds what he does not relize is a
new bird does not necessarily need to be disclosed. Of course the Atwoods purchase could not be hidden so I set the cute babies on his desk for him to hold while I got the brooder
set up, and after he fawned over them for a while I put them in the brooder. Works everytime!

Yes it is devious I know but we have a "Don't ask, don't tell" about my chicken
habit and his music instrument buy habit.

Well speaking of fawning over baby chicks, I hear little cheepers needing chicken lady lovin.

Good Morning Everyone....Hopefully it's going to be a beautiful day for such a special day to celebrate. The kids will get to go hunt for those fun easter eggs and everyone will get to visit with family and friends that we haven't seen for awhile...or maybe wish we didn't have to see....LOL

I have an idea I want to run past you all. I hesitated to post now thinking not very many would see this. But, thought I would try anyway. When I was asking for phone numbers, etc. Carla gave me the idea when she sent me hers....she made the statement that Maribeth had given her numbers when she needed a fan real quick and didn't have the numbers. She said she wished she had those numbers. Well.....here's the idea.

I want to compile a list of phone numbers, (home and cell), email addy, home addresses, your real name as well as your screen name on BYC, and anything else you want to put on it. I know a lot of first names or know your screen name but don't have a clue how to put the two together.

So, I thought it would be a nice thing to have a list for those times such as Carla was going through with the fan going out or someone having a sick critter and desperate on what to do and needing Doc Les.

If you choose to be a part of this list please send me your info via EMAIL so the pm box doesn't fill up. I'll re-post this same post in a a couple of days just in case folks don't see it, give it about a week and then compile it. I'll send each of you a copy and....TA DA....we'll be able to reach each other. AND, when we go to POOPS maybe we'll know who some of the folks are.

If this is a dumb idea let me know 'cause I've been know to come up with hairbrained ideas. LOL...just want to make sure I'm not missing some problems this might cause ...which I don't see anything but a benefit.

Hey I found this ad on craigslist for a compartmentalized cage. It can be 6 compartments or the dividers can be taken out to make 3 larger sections. I know someone here could probably really use something like this so I am posting the link.

We are not discussing the numbers or types of ducks that I have. Unfortunately...I had to do some quick trading in order to get the mandarians in order to make the wife not kill me...of course I was a little sly...I have eggs from the ducks i traded so I will still have some! I am so sneaky! No nobody is to mention a certain pact that was made with a certain person to get me some blue swedish and no we are not talking about that as another breed/variety...or anything like that!

Donna - I think that would be a great idea!! That way if anyone happens to go to an auction or swap or other thingy and comes across something that someone is looking for they could holler at them and then get Teach a pair of wood ducks...no that would not classify as another breed/variety of duck that I have and why are you people keeping track of my addictions anyways! Don't y'all have your own to deal with?

I actually found a few things that I have zero plans of keeping! But I know some folks!!
