Hi everyone as you know P.O.O.P.S will be May 1st . There will be one meal this year. Most of the meat (thanks to our P.O.O.P.S fund from the fall) will be taken care of so we will be looking mainly for side dishes, deserts, casseroles, paper products, cutlery & drinks.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in, chicken & dumplings were a big hit along with that banana pudding. Keep in mind the number of people (aprox. 100) that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

If you volunteer to bring drinks, paper products or cutlery please tell me the quantity you will bring, also the drinks will need to be on ice. I will also need 2 of the large drink coolers to make kool -aid & tea.

I will need volunteers to help with setting up the meal & cleaning up after.

Please PM me with Food in the subject line with what you plan to bring.

I will keep a running list to post from time to time.

I was just looking at the map trying to figure out how to get to poops. Wife is wanting to run on out to Ammarillo afterwards.Looks like a straight shot out I 40. Also checked craigslist for there.Hey they got chickens there too!

I installed a new electric fence charger today. The old one has had a green "OK" light forever, but apparently the last time we had a lightning strike the internals got fried.

He is a cute little guy, I never thought I would have a NN much less a bantam NN. I have to say he is my fav. I think he had just finished eating when I had him in here bothering him. I got most of the bigger one where I can put them in a cage on the ground on nice days now, they love it. I am working on loading more pictures, any that you see & can tell me what they are please do.

Thanks Brick. Yeah she will be 24 this year,married for six months,split apart and he died while they were split. That was really hard on her,finally pulled herself together and was really happy for the first time in a while with this one. Then he blew up and got nasty and ended it and she is reeling trying to figure out what happened!About all you can do is listen and reasure and hope she can pull herself together once again.But it just tares you up not being there.
