I love that idea! Dad and I would certainly be in! Although, for the meeting that would include the Durant area, I think we should meet on the first or third Tueasay of a month, so that way we could all head over to our big local poultry auction afterwards!

That's to far for me but sounds like the perfect place... and other like this....

?Question?

We are driving ourselves batty trying to figure out how to have "poop & mud free" H2O for our chickens and turkeys.
Our dilemma is 'ducks'... and lots of them. Any clues to a good wateres or something we can jimmy-rig to keep our
ducks out of the water. We've tried hanging waterers, bowls, placing water into the coop only (the ducks find
their way in), etc. We have seen a couple of sites online but it seems to be pretty expensive......

Any idea's or direction would be most helpful. Thanks in advance.

P.S.
We have checked @ this site [ http://www.avianaquamiser.com/diywaterers/ ] .
But we are not sure about the product... Hmm.

... that is an incredible Roo.
Thanks for sharing. Very interesting.

Very unusual. I had heard that hens could have a hormonal change and start crowing - in fact that was a sign that you were a "witch" in past centuries, if your hen stopped laying and started crowing like a rooster. I am trying to fathom how a rooster could somehow develop an oviduct and ovary.

Facinating. It will be interesting to see what the research shows about this fowl.
