One of my broody Cochins can't make up her mind if she wants to set or not and my other game hen I thought was settin was on a bare nest or something got all her eggs, nothing in there that I could see and she was out and running around the pen!!! RATS!!!
I am thinking about selling my pairs of Standard size Cochins if anyone is interested I have pairs in White, Golaen Laced, Partridge, and one black hen and one blue red/yellow rooster. $$$$???? Make offers!!!!!

anyone else get a touch of rain?? its nice enough to go out and get some work done! a ramp for the duck pool, they have a tough time with the new pool, its 15 inches deep and the smaller ducks can't get in...LOL!

Happy B-Day Jer-man! Are ya headin' to Blanchard tonight to celebrate your birthday?

Gerald and I are going to the Blanchard auction, and almost have everything ready to go. We're taking eating eggs, hatching eggs, and some royal palm turkey poults. Oh, and lots of freshly picked cucumbers!!!!

I have whatever you need right now, have 15 (6 spoken for) that are 6-7 weeks old around 20-35lbs (Perfect BBQ grill or smoker size), Have two that are 80-100- lbs (one intact male,one female), and I have two 1 year old guilt?first litter sows, (mommas to the little ones) that weigh around 250-300lbs, and last but not least I have my oldest (3yo) boar that has been a good breeder but too big for guilts and I have kept back a replacement boar from him!!! One dollar a lb on little and 80-100 lb'ers and $.75/ lb on the sows and boar or will consider reasonable offers on any of them(quantity discounts). Will deliver for a fee!!!
Also have bunnies in small(4weeks old) to medium sizes(6wks old)(small fryer sizes) price depends on which and how many you are interested in!!!!
Have Cochin (Standards) for sale also, make a reasonable offer!!!! Lynn

Nana and Greybear@3 I am saving the hollyhock seed now.Should have a bunch ready to ship before long so you can get them started before fal. That way they should bloom next year. Wife said I needed to cut the back because they were finished but I said oh no! not till the seed drys. Some of my deep reds are over 8 ft tall.

Wife and I wored on the pergola on our deck till noon then came in and cooled down and napped. Hopefully will be able to almost finish it except for painting this afternoon late.

I spotted a rumpless ee chick in the brooder! I have one hen but figured I would lose the gene but at least one chick popped out!Cool!

Went out and did the feeding and watering chores and everytime I passed the blackberry row I had to stop and nibble a few. I like them warm and fresh,they are so "summer".

Ocarla I am so glad you get to take off and hit an auction! Have a great time and don't forget to lo0ok the bargains over,remember you are making room so now you have a spot for them!lol
