Oh yes, I forgot about using yogurt and granola together---mmmmm! Plus Yoplait is so good to start with, but doc advised me to eat 3 a day--that's a lot! At least, more than I am used to eating.

I wonder if I can convice Vern that I am well enough to go to Jones??

Morning all : Couldn't make it to the sale barn last night Just didn't feel very smiley or chatty this week, sounds like folks had fun as usual. Glad to see the sun this morning maybe dry out a little I have some chores that need tending to but that may have to wait cause I just feel like resting today ( been a tough week ).

Peaches : Doc will be home before ya know it, being a military family is a tough road but you guy's are in good hands and have plenty of us here to help if you ever need anything.

In this heat, the Jones auction would be an endurance test. As Les mentioned in an earlier post, you want to get there a few hours early to have any hope of parking within a block or two of the sale, which begins at 1:00. I have gotten some great bargains in the past, when I pulled the one item out of the box of junk that I had to buy in order to get the one cool thing. The auction is outdoors and they will sell everything from furniture to grandma's shoes. Of course, if you happen to wear the same size shoe as grandma, you will likely get a good buy on them.

Thanks Al! You guys are great!

Yesterday was bad. Anxiety hit me like a brick. Today is somewhat better so far. Doc leaves Ft. Benning Friday going into Afghanistan.

Ohhhh I thought they did it inside? Oh I don't think I could handle heat AND direct sun...maybe I will just hang out in the barn with the critters today. Swat flies. At least that is useful!

The Jones auction on Thursday nights is mainly inside and if you sit directly in front of a fan it is fairly comfortable. The monthly "everything" auction, where you can buy a vehicle, trailer, and everything you need for your own garage sale, is outside and consists of boxes and tables of stuff circled around the parking lot. It is like a flea market with an auctioneer.

Yeah as everybody knows I don't work on Saturday's but with Alyssa's deal hitting us hard this week I was really behind on this current job so I put in a full day yesterday at the job site, I have some sub-contractors coming on monday morning so I needed to be ready for their stage. As for the physical and mental energy I am just tapped out none to spare, Alyssa seems really down and even my silly antics can't get her to smile and she hasn't left the house all week, I even said I would let her drive me to town since now has her learners permit and loves to drive, she said maybe some other time. I was afraid this would happen and am trying everything I can to make sure she doesn't fall into this state, I feel so bad for her.
