I have 23 Dark Cornish and I believe theres like 10 Roo's in the kill cage I would sell for about 5 bucks each, they got about 12 days left if you or anyone is interested. I am NPIP certified.

Updated to say I changed Price from $10 to $5 as I Did a little research today and $5 is the fair price.

My husband and daughter use them in yogurt smoothies for breakfast and in my opinion, you can't beat a good ole blackberry cobbler. I lay mine out on a flat baking sheet to freeze and then transfer the frozen berries into zip lock bags. That way they don't stick together and you can take out only what you need. You could also try making syrup for pancakes.

Marybeth and Teach

Thank you both dearly for trying to help with this... Right now things picked up on the house projects... summer home school with my kids and then making sure the girls in our care are visiting with family its really time consuming and my days are rolling that I am losing track to much that I have already forgot about a dental apt for myself down in Wichita Falls Tx...

Update on Our Elgin Situation: Please keep the family that was affected by the tragic deaths of two key folks in Elgin that died... The woman was a 7th grade teacher and her husband worked at the Fire Department and I knew them via the Gym they ran here in Elgin..(although looking at me you wouldnt know that I did go for a time.... lol) Such a tragic turn of events it will effect this small town for days to come...

Maribeth and Roy . . . you guys are so sweet to offer to do this for us. I think it would be a great idea. If not, I may be going to OKC on Thursday to pick up the dreaded MIL from the airport. Jeannie, you think you could meet up somewhere between I-40 and Elgin? I don't think I will have the time to drive all the way down there. I will definitely be headed that way around the first of the month to take her back.

Roy . . . how could you? I even emptied out an entire coop to put them in when they get bigger. I am so distraught right now. (lol, just kidding) It's not a big deal.

I am currently working on hour 33 for being awake. I worked 13 hours today and am totally worn out. Sad thing is I'm not even sleepy tired, just exhausted, body don't wanna work, tired.

hey girl...i will have them next friday for you...i am working in a better egg checker this week but currently he isn't being a good call returner...

you wouldn't by chance want any adults...would you...well...kinda adult anyway

When ours would get loose many years ago, we would generally find them in about a week, in the bathtub. Never did figure out how they got there, but guessed they were seeking water.

My son's hampster would get out and travel from his room, through the kitchen, living room, hall and into my bedroom, then start climbing around the newspaper on the floor next to my bed, which would wake me up and I would chase the critter down to put it back into its cage. After about the third night of that, we started locking the cage with twist ties. Never did figure out how or why he would find his way to the head of my bed each night.

In regards to all the hoopla at little ole Elgin today. The folks were both coaches at the Elgin school and were involved in other business ventures on the side, they owned a gym an just sold a small sandwich shop in a small strip mall also in town. My Daughter and her Beau know them both and I have met them a few times, I personaly know the chief of Police here in Elgin and over coffee he told me the deal............................... The two were aparently having some marital problems that were compounded by their lack of business sense as they were in a deep financial hole. They had applied for a loan and were turned down flat and as they talked/argued in the parking lot the man shot his wife then himself in the car. Just goes to show you never know......... But it was causing all the stir here today in little ole Elgin. I do feel sorry for the family and especialy if there were children involved.

On a brigther note I got a hat-full of work done today here at the house chores mostly, in the dead of the day's heat, I feel great and all is well and my yard now is once again presentable
