On another note: my dad went home yesterday and I had the privilege of taking him there!

I'm so happy he's home now maybe more time for my studying! Speaking of which because I took him home that put me behind on a take home test that is due at 11 am today so here I am finishing that up and having to ditch my first class sigh at least my first class doesn't dock you for absences

Hey everyone

Still rolling with the sickness here at my house havent been able to talk in the past few days... and Jason is enjoying moment of peace while making fun of me at the same time...

Hey Donna Good to see you posting again...

Howdy all,
frow.gif

I've been having internet issues - AT&T has been out several times to try to figure it out. Am trying to catch up on posts before I get kicked off again, so I thought I'd say hello.

Quenston! Hope you're okay - that Lyme Disease is on my list of things that are Not Good.

Okla-Doodle - looking forward to your visit to OK - let me know when you'll be here - we can either meet somewhere or you are welcome to stop by my place if you have the time.

I have the winter garden almost in - broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, onions, cauliflower. Still need to clean out one 12' x 12' bed - thinking of planting some annual rye in that for the winter.

Who all is coming to the Poultry Show at the Tulsa State Fair? I hope the Baileys will be there, and Rodriguezpoultry usually shows some birds - is anyone besides me planning to drop by just to look?

Okay - back to trying to catch up - miss you all!

Funny thing you and Okla-Doodle should mention the wind. The first time I was out there with DBF Jack, we had done some work outside trying to put metal siding up on the shop Dad was building at the time, and later that evening when we were all around the dinner table Jack said, "This job will be a lot easier once this windstorm blows through."

Everybody stopped and looked at him, waiting for the joke, but he was serious - he didn't realize the wind ALWAYS blows like that out there.
He used to ask me why all the women in my family keep their hair styles really short, and once he visited out there he said, "Oh - I get it now."

Preparing for war is alway tedious business! Make sure you pull out the gatlan gun that way you can catch it on the run!

Do you have those handy exploding broadheads for your bow too?? I wish I did for mine but unfortunately all I have is the standard fixed broadhead but they are cut on contact! Good for deer! Speaking of deer hunting season opens Oct 1ST

oh make sure you either wear a bandana thing or turn your hat around backwards and do this redneck style! If you don't you'll miss

JK hope you get what your after but beware they call in their reinforcements too! Hope they aren't friends with anything that flies...that could be a poop bomb waiting to happen

Oh my I crack myself up

It seams like I can never leave my birds without something bad happening, either!

Luckily, the missing birds aren't detrimental to my plans, but it still bugs me when stuff like that happens.

Hiyas, City!

Glad to hear Stimp is doing better, wish i could go to the porch raising!

MM- I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has ever set in a tree stand over a can of tuna. Although I didnt take any victory pictures with all the ones that I shot, maybe next time. Good luck on the killing.
