We are looking to buy at least 1 adult female royal palm.
laying hens for Yonna's 4h project. prefer large heavy breed
color dosn't mater. my cell is below beth or chris. I plan on
being at next weeks auction in blanchard but will pick up if kind
of local.

Lynn it was good to see you today, let me know when you are ready to do some trading. Did you see the golden laced Polish pair that I got? I offered to pay the ladies P.O. fee and give her 25 for the pair and she told me she wanted to see what they would bring. I ended up buying them for far less, they will make a great breeding pair if you are interested in eggs, the lacing is a little thick in a few spots on the roo, but the hen is gorgeous.

There are many colors. I ordered black and blue mottled (10+) When th auction was complete the seller said the hens slowed down and could she send some in other colors. She sent 2 dozen! (for 5.00 and 12.00 shipping) I've got seven that look to be the blue and blacks I wanted, a couple white, a couple buff and a few that are chipmunk patterned. This breeder has several pens and one that has several colors all together so some of these could be cochin mutts.
Over night I doubled my chicken population and my DH thinks that is alot of chickens - Ha!

Hey Chris it was good to see you, sorry I couldn't stay too long, we had to go to the bank and load a car and take it to Ponca then come home and tore up some water heaters and refrigerator to start loading tomorrow, need money and need to get the place cleaned up for winter, Would have loved to been there early and bid on some of the pigeons and other stuff, how much did the pair of Slate Blue and single Bourbon Red Turkeys go for? I am not much into the Polish right now, I think they are some beautiful birds and the Buff Laced is my favorite color so if I get some cages built and an incubator set up this next spring I just may take you up on the egg offer. Good morning everyone

I'm working on an all-nighter been working on geting the temp and humidity stable in the incubator in between downloads and updates getting this comp back up still not sure that I'm rid of the virus but it's at least quarantined one scan says removed the next finds it again I lost everything on the hard drive because of it I even reformatted and it was still there it's in the boot sector so not sure how to get rid of it permanantly.
Thanks NN for the info, I'm not sure that my birds have Corzya I only have one bird with a problem and she isn't acting sick and has no smell to her other than just the normal chicken smell just the swelling thats been ther for a couple weeks now it's better but still not gone, I still am getting a misformed egg pretty regular but none of the birds are off feed or water so I don't know, I spoke with the lady I gave the birds to and she said that one started acting sick so she took it out of the pen and a couple days later more were sick so she called someone at OSU and asked questions and another University her birds had all the right symtoms including the bad smell and since the only birds that she's added were from me she figured she should let me know that it came from mine but considering that I gave her those birds two months ago I am doubting I have corzya but then I'm not the expert on the subject just starting my education actually and need to learn a lot more about poultry diseases.
Just in case I have something wrong with that flock though I won't be selling them to anyone anymore and will probably dress them all out through the next couple months
I have several flats of their eggs that are about to go into the incubator tomorrow I'm hoping for a good hatch, then I can have them all replaced by spring and in a different area while I clean out the old area
