Hi, I am pooped. I just got back from trimming and cutting trres at my MIL's.
I brought one truck load out here to dump so I can burn it later but I will at least another laor tomorrow.
My 11 year old helper kept diappearing to get milk and cookies.
Michael, I am planning to come to the swap, but it depends on how stiff I am when I get up.
Wayne, sounds like you have been way too busy.

so was there a problem because he wasn't sharing the cookies with you?

I am tired just reading about what everyone else has been accomplishing. time for me to go to bed - maybe I will feel more inspired to get some things done tomorrow if I feel rested.

Dear Wife and I took the week off from work so we could work on our duplex in town, get those apartments ready to rent and more money coming in. One of those deals where the more I work on it, the more I find needs to be done. Now we are gonna gut the kitchen and install new cabinets in one of them.

We are putting in 12 and 13 hour days. Monday we go back to work so we can rest.

well i got to meet julie gabbard from gabbard farms today and got me some black orps , woo hoo

julie is such a nice lady she even gave me some wheaten and partridge pendensencas eggs , those are going to be kool ..... has anyone ever gotten any birds from her before ?

Looks like I won't be able to make Blanchard after all, which means two more weeks with my extra quail eating me out of house and home. At least they should be nice and fat by the time I'm finally able to sell them off, if I don't change my mind and eat them before then.

We have more than a few stumps - When we mover here 6 years ago we hade more than 40 trees on our acre. We have been loosing them steadily since. A huge hickory and a beautiful, big double oak are especially missed. That tree bore has been getting the pines that border the road.
We used to cut and remove them ourselves but can't keep up. We just paid 600.00 for a guy to cut down 6 pines. We thought that was a pretty good price for cutting, and clearing and hauling off everything. He also trimmed our huge oak. Now all our nieghbors are hiring him before he raises his prices.
