Dallas always looks pretty good putting up hundreds of yards every game, until you look at the scoreboard. They say great teams always find a way to win (thinking Joe Montana's Niners for instance). The Cowboys seem to always find creativel ways to lose.

My day just got better.......................... I got the chance to Chat with Doc Holloway on facebook this morning for about 20 min, he say's he's coming home for 14 day's during Xmas, he is doing good and wanted me to say Hi to everybody for him.

Howdy all. Sorry it's been forever since writing anything.
According to a visitor, I have 5 hens out of 21 chickens. What would be the most efficient way to correct the ratio?

Mass slaughter and chicken for the next month straight? Or is anyone looking for roughly 4 month old RIR roosters? I'd be willing to trade for some hens. Let me know.

Home from Fletcher - got there late so missed some "opportunities" but still came home with "plenty"

(Michael Daugherty is an "enabler" in case anyone doesn't already know that

)
I stopped on my way to Fletcher and got some muscovies - need to rotate out the older ones to make room for these new ones

Now I need to find pens and cages in which to quarantine all the new arrivals

It has been a good day

Enjoyed saying hello to those who were still at the auction when I arrived, Carl and Stephanie, YonderOak, Michael Daugherty, Queen Peaches, Partwyan and some non-BYC auction regulars.

Peaches, I forgot to say "thank you" to the special friend who helped me transfer chickens into the cages you brought me and carried them to my van. Please convey my thanks and appreciation to him. He also helped me load cases of jars at the Blanchard auction back in September.

well guys i made it to the auction last night , and sold 5 ducks all drakes , and 3 geese .. im so proud of myself , BUT , i came home with 10 more leghorn chicks , a couple mottled bantam cochins , and a pair of bantam buff laced polish , since i have a large fowl pair i just had to have them lol
