Heya, Carla, when I find the time I will be happy to help. Maybe one of these weekends the Blanchard or Newcastle sale is on, since you guys are closer to those sales than I am.

I have a few big projects I need to catch up on (like getting two empty apartments ready to rent and processing about 60 birds), but then I can give you a hand. Will let you and Gerald know when that is done.

ETA
No need to pay me, though. Maybe look the other way if I get a cheap bid on your turkey eggs at some of the auctions in the spring.

I will need to know what equipment you bought, though, so I can come prepared.

was a good night at the auction. Got to meet stimpy and Did really well on my birds for as dead as it was. I have over 300 eggs in the bator thats the fullest my bator has ever seen cant wait to push it to the limits.

If anyone is ready for some Cornish x Rock meat birds please pm me these birds are pretty well ready to process. I am gonna do away with custom processing till we finish building the barn for it. I would rather do large numbers then the handfuls we have been doing. I cannot keep up with my customers at this time. and back orders are insane. I am gonna start again in the spring and run it year round then since heat and air will be regulated then. and I will actually have electricity to the barn instead of extention cords.I have about 10 or so Birds i will part with if anyone is interested. again these are cornish cross meat birds for eating only they dont breed true or good. but there finger licking good thanks

My dad told that last Tuesday at the Okmulgee livestock auction they had around 150 chickens .
He said they don't usually have that many, but they are becoming more and more popular.
It is a regular livestock auction.
I may try and go sometime just for kicks.
