Nope my partridge are large fowl, they aren't giant like I have seen but they aren't as small as a bantam.

so how is everyone's poultry doing on this fine, wet evening? With the mud that was created today, my "decent" tennis shoes now resemble the "only fit for the barn" tennis shoes that are banished to the yard until the skunk smell has faded.

Now, I just need to remove the floor mat from the van, since it seems to have been contaminated by the "skunk shoes" when I wore them to the usally muddy Mary's swap mee on Saturday morning.

It was so cute her & her partner in crime were about half way through what they intended to tell them about when one asked if they could just walk up & pick the bird up or would it run/fly away. I wonder if any of them will be telling their parents on the way home they want to show poultry!

My kids aren't on the schedule until late spring and early summer. Too late to sway any for this year.

I just don't understand why we don't have more interest. With so many breeds and varieties, there's something for everyone to love.

I just don't think they know about them. They don't seem to promote the poultry & rabits the way they do the large animals.

I hope we have some interest. The girl that helped with the demonstration is one of DD friends that signed up is now showing poultry with the help of my DD. She is also signed up to help the kids at the school for the blind learn about poultry. I am excited that she wants to do so much.

I am getting ready to take my nap now.
I get to finish painting our hallway tomorrow. Which is pretty optimistic on my part since I haven't even started yet.
