Lights in the coop? I keep a reptile black light in some of the sleeping quarters. It gives off heat and makes the white birds look like phantoms. I only turn it on if the temperature is going to be below freezing.

I'm gettin eggs from my Barnevelders about every third or fourth day. My EEs aren't laying at all, and my Speckled Sussex are laying about as well as the Barnevedlers. My super star layer is my new Penny Hatch game hen. She gives me a nice big egg every day. I need a rooster for her. Anyone bringing a hatch roo to POOPS?

lite in coop ? no i do not put lite in the coop exept for the solar lites so i can see and the prediter gard red flashing lites to keep those varmets at bay lol i have 30+ breading peens so there would be a lot of cords and i would never git any sleep lol

SOONER my son is showing a black white crested polish roo he is verry nice it would be fun for madason to bring one to see you in the mornin
