so are their faces pretty much the same? so poofy is polish then? i was also noticing you can see more of the houdan face? like these two- i have learned to note the breeds, but this is before i started doing that-

Robin those are both polish,one a hen one a male. Houdans are blk/white look on Feathersite and you can see pictures of the breeds.
