Not a problem, getting some standard boxes is just something on my to do list. One cart easily does all the kids birds for their 4-H stuff right now since it's just 6 birds/2 boxes between the 2 of them. I've got a younger one up and coming though and my eldest is graduating to more now that they're showing outside of 4-H. I'll probably end up getting different boxes for my eldest and his own cart. Then the next kid and eventually the next....

No Anna Bell wants to make her own incubator and bring it. ??
First off she is 7 almost 8. She can not or should not be able to wire
her own incubator. Now that is where my problem comes in. Do you
tell her no ? If a kid wants to try something new should you not give this
a go ? Thoughts?

I am just kicking back watching the Eagles/Packers, Laura has din-din working and I have just been informed that a molten dbl chocolate lava cake is also in the works. Laura makes a fantastic homemade lava cake, so I guess I better go give her a smooochi for that one.

Howdy...it isn't snowing here but is darn cold. I was playing with rabbits yesterday...trimming claws...letting the ladies visit the menfolk...and one of those sweet little things bit the nice out of me! I about had rabbit stew bvut i waas to busy crying.

So...what kinda cool stuff did I miss at the auction? I thiught about calling ya'll but figured you would have to leave to hear me.

Babes hatching in two very small batches in separate incubators. Eight silkies out of twelve that made it to the point of pipping have hatched in the first one Friday and Saturday; these babes were first brooded by Mamas a few days outside. Two are lavenders (self blues), one is white, one is dark blue, and the others are "mutts." Most have high-vaulted skulls and good toes.

Four buffs are hatching in the other bator as I type. One is completely out, one close, and the other two following. The three lavenders are showing no pipping at all though I know they were alive up to pipping, and I fear for them. Silkie eggs usually start hatching day 20 in my Genesis, and this is day 21. These are all from new beauties I bought at Shawnee. I'm enjoying the converstion of tinies behind me!

I'm planning to bring a few lavenders to Pryor and POOPS. They have been accepted into the APA standards and should be accepted by the ABA this spring. All the work has been done; just waiting on committee approval.
