DH gets cabin fever really fast - so we drove to the Wallmart on 23rd street. No problem but very few folks out w/o 4 wheel drive. Going to make homemade chicken pot pie tonight.

Seriously, what other colors of NN roos are you looking for? I see those at the auctions more often than the NN hens. I have decided to only use the two blue NN roos you gave me and the one NN frizzle from Carla's flock, in my breeding program.

The cookie tin (actually coffee can) heater is working great. Didn't have a cookie tin, but did have a coffee can, old table lamp, and electrician husband. The snow is taller then the girls, don't think they are very amused!!!! My poor wiener dog is shorter then the chickens he doesn't even stand a chance, he keeps thinking he wants to go out, but can't see over the top of the snow. It is still snowing but old Travis M. just said it is supose to be stopping any minute now.

I want your red NN because you said he is small. I have a big one.
The only others I will say ( because you never know) is a solid black, and Splash.
Now if I happened to find a really nice pure Buff I'd probably go for him too.

My main NN goal is to breed the Blue, Black and Splash NN's. Since I have a red I am doing a pen of those too. I am also thinking about a sex link, dark egg laying, NN by crossing my red roo over some Cuckoo Marans. Then I have an extra blue roo with red wings that I am gonna put in the Joseph's Coat pen of many colors.
