Thank's Donnie................... good job on the hatching. Thanks again for the POOPS Donation, we couldn't survive doing POOPS without all of the good folks who make those donations.

AL

no problem ... always glad to help out my fellow okies and enable the new comers lol

I'm sure she'll be great for you, and a fine LGD. A guardian dog is more about training than anything. My lab did great before I got my Pyrs. I had just heard too many horror stories about lone dogs taking on packs of coyotes and feral dogs. She needed more backup on a place like mine, so we got the other dogs (at least, that is what I tell my wife). And the lab is the one who trained the GPs.

Does everyone have their pockets full of rocks so that they won't blow away in this wind? As I recall, Spring started this way last year also ~with the wind blowing 90 to nothing ~ non-stop.

This time of year I keep my pockets full LOL, for those of you who know me, I need them. I do hate this wind sometimes........... well all the time LOL.

My stuborness got the best of me and I tried to till my garden without the benefit of a soaking first, To my surprise it tilled up just like that fake dirt they use for TV add's LOL. Yeah the soil worked very well and deep with no clumps, the garden has been worked every season for many years and it payed off this year. Now to get the compost pile layered and tilled in and I should be set for planting soon. Glad I got out to do it, despite my incesant coughing.

Got 90 eggs due to go into the hatcher tonight, I only candle on day 18 it just seems to make sense to do it only once, and I started collecting aready for the next batch. How is everybody tonight ??, did Ya'll enjoy the nice day ??.

AL - if you haven't already been to see the doctor about that cough - don't be stubborn ~ just go!
It took me most of March (3 doctor visits, antibiotics and steroids) to get rid of my cough and while I had it, I was bone tired all the time. It doesn't seem to be like a "cold" where it will go away in 7 days if left untreated or go away in a week if treated.

Mine took a month with medication and I'm a stubborn one who won't go lol only reason I went was my legs started swelling and chest pains

I guess nobody else saw your post this morning. Usually everyone is very friendly and you get lots of welcomes by now.

What kind of chickens do you have?

I hope we get to meet you at another auction or POOPS!

Good luck on hatching!
